The manager of the Lake of the Prairies Conservation District says the water levels on the lake are "not terrible" compared to last year.
Adam Kerkowich told CKDM that the lake is currently sitting at 1404.88 feet above sea level.
Kerkowich says the inflows for the lake are starting to level out and are matching the outflow levels.
Downstream from the lake, the Hydrologic Forecast Centre of Manitoba Infrascture and Transportation is reporting that the outflow at the Shellmouth Dam is currently at 4500 cubic feet per second.
The highest water between the dam and St. Lazare is expected between Friday and Monday.
