Agricultural fairs continue to roll on through the Parkland this Summer.
The McCreary Ag Society will be holding its annual fair, Pony Chariot and Chuckwagon event next weekend after the original one was cancelled back in June.
President of the McCreary Ag Society, Redge Johnson says the fair will feature a number of traditional events as well as a few new ones. He added, "We're also putting on a slow pitch tournament that we need teams for."
Doris Feltcher who is a part of the McCreary Ag Society, says the slow-pitch tournament was announced this morning alongside the main events.
With respects to the Chuckwagon races Fletcher said, "We hope to get a full fledge number of racers, they all come from Manitoba and some from Saskatchewan... there all home - town favorites, we cheer them all on."
If inclement weather should arise, President Johnson has said the event will be unfortunately cancelled and rescheduled for next summer.
