A motorcycle ride fundraiser is being held for a woman who was injured in a crash earlier this year.
Ramsay Health and Fitness has organized a Charity Motorcycle Run taking place on August 6th in support of Erin Patrikia who lost her foot in a motorcycle accident on May 7th.
The charity ride will run from Dauphin to Stenen, Saskatchewan, to Yorkton, and back to Dauphin.
Co-Founder of Ramsay Health and Fitness, Dawson Ramsay says they scheduled the route from Dauphin to Stenen, then to Yorkton and back to Dauphin because he knows the area well.
Ramsay said,"I own six gyms in that area... It's my area where I have a little bit of a voice, people tend to know who I am and listen and there's a lot of bikes in that country so the more people you get involved the more money we can raise."
He further added, "The ride will start in Dauphin, then we ride to Stenen - stop for lunch at Rawhides - go to Yorkton RHF and then return to Dauphin."
The fundraisers main objective is to buy Patrikia a prosthetic silicone foot, which is very expensive. RHF says it is Patrikia's dream to own a silicone foot.
