This weekend at Countryfest there were only three calls that the Dauphin Fire Department received.
Fire Chief Cam Abrey says the first one they were called to happened around midnight on Sunday.

"They were trying to put gas into their generator after it had run out. So the unit was extremely hot and the fumes ignited, they panicked and dumped the jerry can ont he grass on accident and it ignited the surrounding grass."

Abrey says the second call happened later on that Sunday morning where a wood post by the Amphitheatre started to smolder from the heat of the stage lights, and the last call was early Monday morning where people set their pop up trailer on fire.

All fires were put out safely and quickly, and no one was hurt in any of these incidents.

Abrey adds that this weekend was a quiet one compared to previous years.
