The Fort Dauphin Museum has a new face to the curator position.
Theresa Deyholos, took over the position back in March.
Deyholos says she has always been a huge history buff, as well has lived here in Dauphin for over 34 years.
"I'm quite familiar with Dauphin and the Parkland area's history. And I was also looking for a change. I had been in the financial services industry for 30 years, so I thought that I would try something different."
Deyholos says she has come up with some ideas. The museum is wanting to bring in a couple of new collections to the main building.
"We'll add more about maybe the schools that were in the district, what Dauphin used to look like in the late 1800s and early 1900s when the settlers were coming in."
Opening day of the museum is on May 29th from 1pm-4pm.
