With a demand for more adult housing, the Vermillion East Apartment Homes here in Dauphin will be expanding.
Property Manager, Ron Slobodzian says they will be adding on another 25 units.
"We will be taking the most popular three sizes of apartments and sort of copied the better features of those suites and we are going to be adding another 25 units joining the existing building."
With the new expansion, Slobodzian says they will also be adding in a bigger common area.
"When we add on the wing they are going to be putting on different types of lifestyle at the front there. We do seem to have some long cold winters here, and the folks will have lots of room to move around and enjoy the facilities inside with the different types of recreation."
Slobodzian says they hope to start building late May or early June and will take a year to complete.
