Friends and family of Merle Haggard will pay tribute to the late legend at this year's Countryfest.
Countryfest promoter Rob Waloschuk announced this morning Merle's sons Ben and Noel, and his longtime band The Strangers, will play Sunday July 3rd at the Dauphin festival. Singer/songwriter Jamey Johnson will be joining them.
Waloschuk says this is an exclusive show that Merle Haggard fans won't want to miss.
Haggard, who was scheduled to headline Countryfest, died on April 6, on his 79th birthday.
