A bridge in the RM of Dauphin remains closed as the municipality explores whether a repair can be done to extend its life.
Reeve Dennis Forbes says the Parker Bridge has been deemed unsafe and is closed. He says they will refer the matter to the drainage committee.
Forbes says people will have to detour around it for now.
"It'll add two or three miles in some cases. It's an inconvenience, absolutely, but there is an alternate route."
The Parker Bridge is located on Road 153N Between Road 117W and 118W.
