Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation has a new executive director!
Mary Myhre since 2012 was the community liaison for DNRC, and then later was offered the executive director position.
Myhre says that she was surprised when she was offered the job, but happy that she was being recognized for her work.
"It was very affirming to be offered the job. I had confidence in my skill and my role here. And so, it was very affirming for the board to show their confidence in my skill as well."
Myhre took over from Loreen Husband who stepped down to open up her own catering business.
