For only it's second time being put on, it sure was a hit!
The Parkland Family & Baby Expo took place this weekend at the DRCSS, where over 40 vendors were set up to provide services about baby products, jewelry, clothing, toys and much more.
Organizer, Megan Porter says that it's great to see the community come out and support this event.
"It shows that the community wants this and that they like it. So hopefully it will bring more vendors and more businesses to it in the future and we can continue to expand it."
Porter also says that this expo is a good way for parents to learn new things and learn about new products that they may have never heard about before, in hopes they would pass it on to other parents to know about.
Consultant for Tiber River, Tanis Sirski had a booth set up to provide and display the different baby products and products for parents that the company offers. She said that this is her second year coming to the expo and her experience is always great.
"You see people who were here last year and see how their children have grown, you see people that are expecting and it reminds me of when i was expecting. So it's great to see the families out. And so many vendors, like there is an incredible amount of people that put in a lot of hard work and dedication to offer more choices to parkland families."
This years expo attendance was doubled this year compared to last years.
