The parent partnership council at Barker School is still raising funds for a new playground, so they are putting on a movie night that will be held tomorrow night at the Barker Bear Theatre!
Chairperson for the Barker School Parent Council, Nicole Perih says that they are grateful for all the support that they have been receiving.
"So far we have raised roughly $30,000 this year, and just the support overall from people has been great! They understand how important it is for the kids. And it's not just for the Barker students, it's for the community."
Movie starts at 7 P.M. Kids four and under are free! Children must be accompanied by at least one adult, and a concession will be available.
Perih says that if you are wanting to make a donation you can write out a cheque to Mountain View School Division, and in the memo part of the cheque put "Barker Playground."
