The Roblin fire deptartment is happy about their new piece of equipment!
Within the last year, they purchased a thermal imaging camera, which helps find people in the smoke of a burning building.
Roblin's Fire Chief, Alf Brade, says they are still paying off the loan for the camera, but the town's support for it is has been greatly appreciated.
"The Ford dealership here just gave us funds last week. They had a barbeque supper there. So we were fortunate enough that they saw fit to send any money that they raised at the supper our direction. So that, that all helps!"
Brade says this has been something on their wishlist for a long time, and it's nice to finally have this particular piece of equipment.
