Exciting news coming out of the Gilbert Plains-Grandview Ag Society's AGM last night.
The board just welcomed Courtney McDonald as their new president.
McDonald says she's excited to get to work on several upcoming events.
"We have some great ideas to work with, and we hope early February to start cranking out some dates and events that people can attend and learn more about."
While McDonald admits that she does not have a huge amount of experience within the Ag Society, she says she has always been a part of the Gilbert Plains community.
She says it feels great to be appointed president, and will be working closely with the outgoing president over the next few months.
