Prairie Mountain Health announced today that six new telehealth sites are now live.
The facilities in Benito, Camperville, Ethelbert, Souris, Treherne, and Waterhen now bring the total telehealth sites in the province to 24.
MBTelehealth provides video conferencing for health-care services, continuing education, health-related meetings, and family visits between communities.
PMH CEO Penny Gilson says this means less travel for patients and families, more access to medical specialists, and over all better health care services, closer to home.
