A traditional Christmas dinner is being held at Dauphin`s First United Church for anyone who wants to come.
Coordinator Lisa Clark says the plan is to offer a free, full turkey dinner on Christmas Day.
"Just an opportunity for us to create a situation where people can get together and have some fellowship and share what, you know, is generally and important meal at an important time."
Doors will open at 4:30 and the dinner, being held in the First United Church auditorium, starts at 5. It is a walk-in event.
Clark says they're preparing on faith, with no idea who will show up or how many
"We're going to do our best to prepare, but it is for anyone who feels that it would meet their need that day."
A similar dinner used to be held in Dauphin, but it was at St. Viator's.
