Police are investigating a fatal collision on a Manitoba highway in which a vehicle rear-ended a backhoe.
A 66-year-old man from Loon Straits died in hospital after colliding with a backhoe on Highway 59 near St. Clements last evening.
Both vehicles were travelling north.
Police say according to witnesses the backhoe appeared to have the required operating lights on at the time. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
