Assiniboine Community College in Brandon is welcoming its new Academic Vice President.
Dr. Deanna Rexe has a doctorate in educational leadership from Simon Fraser University, where she also taught in the Faculty of Education. She was also the VP of both Vancouver Community College, and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Dr. Rexe says "it's an exciting time in post-secondary education, and in Manitoba in particular".
She says she looks forward to working with students, staff, stakeholders, and the community, to acheive an exceptional learning experience.
ACC President Mark Frison says her main priority is to double the number of the campus' graduates by 2025.
