Warning preparedness meteorologist with Environment Canada John Paul Craigg says this month in Dauphin will be warmer and drier than usual.
"Average high in the Dauphin area is -8 and an average low in the Dauphin area is -18.1, so it looks like temperatures will be warming than that. It's very difficult to tell how much warmer."
Dauphin got as high as 10 today.
Craigg says January and February will also be a little warmer than average, with temperatures returning to normal after that.
