Not that you have much choice, but a ban on fertilizer application is now in effect in Manitoba.
The ban was moved from November 10 to 14 to midnight tonight, but the province advises that due to recent snowfall accumulations the ban is now in place.
Nutrient application restrictions are designed to protect the water quality of Manitoba's lakes and rivers.
