There won't be a fight for the provincial NDP nomination in Dauphin afterall.
Curtis Kaleta, president of the local constituency association, says Laverne Lewycky hasn't submitted an application with the provincial office.
Lewycky confirmed with CKDM today he is not running, which means Sifton's Darcy Scheller is the lone candidate.
Kaleta says a nomination meeting will be held November 23 at the Dauphin Senior Centre.
Before that, the association's annual general meeting takes place, with all welcome to attend.
