Applying for special liquor permits for social events in Manitoba can now be done from your living room couch.
Manitoba's Mineral Resources Minister Dave Chomiak, who is responsible for the Liquor and Gaming Control Act, announced last week that liquor permits for weddings and other social events can now be applied for online at My L-G-A dot C-A.
The website is mobile-friendly. Emails will be sent when applications are received and when permits are ready for pick-up.
Minister Chomiak says the creation of the website is an example of the government's commitment to improving service delivery and accessibility for Manitobans.
