The two firefighters of the year weren't the only ones being recognized at Dauphin's Firefighters Ball on Saturday.
Three members of the Sifton Fire Department were presented awards as well.
Deputy chiefs Gerald Rudkavich and Don Lozinski each received a Governor General's Exemplary Fire Service medal for reaching both 20 and 30 years of service, as did Sifton fire chief Dave Standrick.
Dauphin firefighter Bernard Smith also received a Manitoba Association of Firefighters Long Service medal for 25 years of service.
