Canada's 42nd Parliament will officially be sworn in later this week.
That means Dauphin-Swan River-Neepawa MP Robert Sopuck will be back in Ottawa, albeit as an MP on the opposition side of the House of Commons for the Conservatives.
Justin Trudeau will be sworn in as the country's 23rd Prime Minister on Wednesday morning, where he will also reveal his cabinet.
The Conservatives meanwhile will meet on Thursday to pick an interim leader.
