Not many details are being provided by the RCMP about the meeting they had with the Manitoba PC party over the alleged awarding of untendered tiger dam contracts by the province's infrastructure department.
According to RCMP media relations officer Sergeant Bert Paquet, they are reviewing the information provided and aren't releasing any other details until a further review has taken place.
Opposition leader Brian Pallister told media last week a meeting has taken place with the RCMP's Serious and Organized Crime Unit.
"We will continue to provide whatever assistance we can so that we can get to the bottom of this issue. We will also be contacting sources of information that have provided information to us and we will be encouraging them to bring information forward to this RCMP unit."
CKDM has yet to speak with infrastructure minister Steve Ashton.
