Two of three alleged Dauphin jail escapees are accused of breaking into a business in Cowan and stealing alcohol while on the run.
27-year-old Victor Norbert St. Paul of Ebb and Flow and 21-year-old David Harvey Barker of Shoal River reserve are accused of breaking into Kolisnyk's General Store in Cowan.
They are also two of three suspects in an escape from Dauphin Correctional Centre that occurred Sunday just after midnight.
The two men were arrested by Swan River RCMP in the Swan River area around 3:30am the same day.
A third suspect in the escape, 23-year-old Chad Robert Woods of Crane River First Nation, was arrested in Dauphin about 30 minutes after the initial report.
Charges for the alleged break-in and theft are not known at this time, but all three are facing a charge of escape custody.
