This year's community dinner for the Gilbert Plains Rec Commission will support the Gilbert Plains Country Club.
Every year the commission chooses to have the proceeds go to a different local organization, and country club general manager Scott McCallum says they're "really excited about this"
McCallum says the funds they get from the dinner will go towards a rough mower that they purchased this year.
"If you are a golfer and you're looking to support the Gilbert Plains Country Club, this would be a great way to. We're looking to raise as much money as we can and hopefully at the end of the day, we got some other projects on the go that hopefully we can support as well."
Tickets for the dinner cost $50, and people can get them by calling McCallum at 648-7834.
