Assiniboine Community College's Parkland campus is following the Dauphin Friendship Centre's lead during Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The DFC is hosting a bannock burger sale October 23 with proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Society. ACC Parkland will have its own pink pancake breakfast on October 27.
Organizer Ashley Sidlar says pancakes will be $5 per plate, with proceeds also going to help fight breast cancer.
She says she got the idea from the DFC.
"Because they're doing their bannock burger. You know what, I seen the email from them and I was like, 'What a great idea! Why not take on the challenge of Dress for the Cause and just support a great cause like breast cancer? So shout out to DFC for helping us come up with this event and it's going to be just awesome."
Sidlar says the event starts at 7:30am October 27.
