Preliminary numbers show 6,432 people voted through advance polls in Dauphin-Swan River-Neepawa.
Nationwide, 3,633,422 people are believed to have used advance polls. That compares to 2,100,855 last election.
These are preliminary figures and are not final until all votes are counted on election day.
There was an extra day for advance polls this time around, running from October 9 to 12.
In addition to advance polls, Elections Canada allowed voting at select campuses, friendship centres, and community centres from October 5 to 8. Elections Canada says 70,231 electors registered and voted at these locations.
