The Dauphin and District Snowmobile Club might soon have a new trail going through Duck Mountain Provincial Park.
Club president George Carrier says they've been working on opening the trail for a couple of years now, and they're just awaiting final approval from Manitoba Parks.
"It will go into the park west of Ethelbert, and then continue north to an existing trail that the Swan Valley Snowmobile Club currently grooms. So it will create a little bit of a loop for us and connect to Wellman Lake Lodge."
The club will hold their next meeting on Tuesday at Parkway Lanes, where Carrier says they'll be holding elections to fill some vacant positions on their executive board.
