Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall has announced his support for the Trans-Pacific Partnership, but Manitoba's ag minister wants to know more before saying if the deal is a good or a bad one.

Ron Kostyshyn spoke to CKDM this morning.

He says it's too early to make any speculation about the details of the TPP.

"Definitely, the Manitoba government believes that, you know, just an opportunity to enhance trade and opportunities of added value to the economy of the province of Manitoba, definitely, we support that wholeheartedly, but until the details are somewhat further explained..."

The trade deal between Canada and 11 other countries was announced yesterday.
