A 22-year-old man from the RM of Alonsa is dead after an incident involving a vehicle over the weekend.
Ste Rose du Lac RCMP officers were called to Kinosota Front Road in the RM of Alonsa for a collision involving a pedestrian on Saturday night.
RCMP say investigation shows a man who was intoxicated was joyriding on the hood of a car and fell in front of it while the car was still in motion.
Police say an 18-year-old woman from Portage la Prairie who was driving the car remained at the scene and has been cooperative.
No charges have been laid at this point and the investigation is ongoing.
