Dauphin's firefighters are getting a season-long shout out from the Dauphin Kings.
Fire Chief Cam Abrey says Kings Head Coach and GM Marlin Murray approached the fire department earlier this year with the idea of featuring the DFD on the team's third jerseys.
Abrey says the department all agreed it was an awesome idea to have that recognition.
"We're big, staunch supporters of our local MJHL team and the Kings and all we can say is Go Kings, Go!"
The Kings will also be having different members of the Dauphin Fire Department dropping ceremonial pucks at games throughout the season.
The jerseys will be auctioned off at the end of the season.
