A 67-year-old Birch River man was taken to hospital as a precaution after a single vehicle hit a pole on Highway 10, causing a power outage in the Ethelbert area last night.
Dauphin RCMP Constable Rob Tuff says the cause of the collision is undetermined at this point. The driver of the vehicle was the only person involved.
The collision was reported to RCMP around 5:15 in the evening.
It occured on Highway 10, north of Ethelbert, near an intersection with Provincial Road 269.
