The Association of Manitoba Municipalities has a new president.
Chris Goertzen, mayor of the city of Steinbach, has assumed the role after Doug Dobrowolski announced his resignation today.
Dobrowolski is resigning to pursue a Progressive Conservative nomination in the provincial riding of Dawson Trail.
Dobrowolski is the longest-serving president of the association, first elected in 2008.
