Today is the last day that ratepayers in the RM of Mossey River will be able use the Fork River office.
The office will officially close this weekend in a decision Head of Council Kate Basford says was a hard one for council to make.
"We gave a lot of deliberation on that. Council felt for two reasons, budget constraints and also there was a redundancy. If the Fork River office was further away from Winnipegosis, then we could see the need."
Basford says with the move, they're hoping to provide a better service for ratepayers out of their Winnipegosis office.
