Communities across the country are celebrating Canada's 148th birthday, and there's plenty of activity in the Parkland.
Fireworks are planned at Dauphin's fairgrounds tonight.
The show is scheduled to begin around 10:45 but tourism and special events coordinator Ashley Miller says the show starts at dusk.
"We say dusk, so whenever dusk would be. I would get there, the earlier the better, just to make sure you don't miss them."
Events are scheduled throughout the day in Clear Lake and Onanole. Winnipegosis' celebrations should just be getting started. For more information on Parkland Canada Day activities, check CKDM's events page.
