GARTH BROOKS CANCELLED BECAUSE OF STANLEY CUP FINAL
You'd think nothing would get in the way of Garth Brooks' comeback tour. He has been pushed aside by the N-H-L.
Officials at Amalie Arena in Tampa have announced Brooks' concerts this week have been cancelled as the Tampa Bay Lightning face off against the Chicago Blackhawks for the Stanley Cup final. Brooks says he will try to reschedule and he offers his congratulations to the Lightning.

ENRIQUE IGLESIAS HAS SURGERY AFTER DRONE ACCIDENT
Enrique Iglesias is recovering from reconstructive hand surgery after cutting his fingers on a drone.
The drone was filming his concert in Tijuana, Mexico on Saturday, and Iglesias usually grabs it to show the audience his perspective.
This time it went wrong and he sliced his fingers. Iglesias was patched up at the side of the stage and came back to perform for another 30 minutes while covered in blood. He was taken to Los Angeles to see a specialist.

SNOOP DOGG MAY BRING BACK SNOOP LION
Snoop Dogg has not abandoned Snoop Lion. As he puts it, ``The Lion is in the den. He's resting.'' Snoop says he fell in love with reggae music and Jamaica because of the Lion project, and it's had an impact on his new record, ``Bush.'' Snoop says the singing he did as Snoop Lion carried over to ``Bush.'' Snoop says it was a mutual decision between him and Pharrell Williams that he should sing more and rap less for this album.

SCOTT STAPP AND WIFE WILL BE ON ``COUPLES THERAPY''
Scott Stapp and his wife Jaclyn will take part in the next edition of V-H-1's ``Couples Therapy.'' People magazine reports they are one of five couples who will be on the show this fall. Last year, Stapp's wife called authorities after he believed he was part of the C-I-A and made threats against the White House.
Stapp has been receiving treatment for bipolar disorder and substance abuse.

TALKING HEADS GET HONOURARY DEGREES
Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz and Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads are now honorary doctors. They were each given honorary P-h-D's over the weekend from the Rhode Island School of Design. They met as students there 44 years ago.

BEATLES COSTUME DESIGNER DIES
Costume designer Julie Harris used to say she was one of the few people who can claim to have seen all four Beatles naked. Harris did the costumes for the films ``A Hard Day's Night''
and ``Help.'' She died Saturday at a London hospital after suffering from a chest infection at the age of 94. Harris also worked on ``Live and Let Die,'' ''Casino Royale`` and ''The Great Muppet Caper.``

ERIN ANDREWS, BRITTANY SNOW WILL HOST CMT MUSIC AWARDS
Erin Andrews and Brittany Snow have been named as co-hosts of the C-M-T Music Awards. The ceremony will be next Wednesday in Nashville.
