B.B. KING - DAUGHTERS

Yesterday was one of the few days recently that there hasn't been some public bickering over B.B. King's estate -- and those who run it. But Monday was an explosive day -- in which two of King's daughters publicly declared they believe their dad was murdered and that two of the people King trusted with his affairs are to blame for his death. The allegation is being challenged by the attorney for the estate. Brent Bryson suggests that those making the claims may have to answer to a court themselves if they can't prove the allegations that he insists are false.

TRACE ADKINS CONCERT MARRED

They came for the music. But some of those who attended a concert by Trace Adkins over the weekend in Tennessee will have some bad memories of the event. Authorities say a food vendor at the event in Huntsville started a fight, then struck several people with his S-U-V. One of the four people hit by the vehicle has died. Bill Jason Carson is charged with homicide and felony reckless endangerment.

BOB DYLAN - NEWPORT FOLK FESTIVAL

It doesn't look like Bob Dylan will play this year's Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island -- even though he has a standing invitation to do so. But his presence will be felt. It was at the event 50 years ago that Dylan made rock history -- by ditching his acoustic guitar and going electric. The three-song set is seen as one of the key events in rock 'n' roll history -- because it got other acts to plug in and make new audiences. How big of an event? The Fender Stratocaster Dylan played at Newport was sold at auction for nearly one million dollars. It remains the highest price paid for a guitar at auction. The festival runs July 24th-26th.
