Tickets are in short supply for tomorrow’s LobsterFest in Dauphin.

Organizing coordinator Scott Whitmore says this event has been growing in popularity for several years, and right now there are only a few tickets left.

"At this moment in time, I have 10 tickets available. Basically anybody wanting tickets will have to contact me directly. My cell phone is 648-4925."

Whitmore says this event helps fund the various events that are put on by the Rotary Club.

"This is just one of those events that we use to be able to do some of the things that we support each year. There's the exchange program we have, the student exchange. There's multiple donations we make ourselves as a club throughout the community and things that we support. Most recently the donation made to the aquatic swimming pool."

As for what to expect this year, Whitmore says expectations are high.

"It looks like the weather's going to be great, so that's always fantastic, but we never have a bad time anyways. We're at the hilltop stage at the Selo Ukraina site and we always have a cover over us just in case it rains. Apart from that, the weather looks like it's great so we certainly hope everybody comes out and has a great time."

The event gets going tomorrow afternoon at 5:30 at the Selo site.
