There is just over a month to go until the Walk for Alzheimer's in Dauphin.
It will take place on June 21, and this year, it'll start at CN Park, where there will also be a BBQ.
Parkland Regional Coordinator for the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba Wanda Sime says the walk won't be too strenuous.
"It's just a nice evening walk, it's not a marathon. It's just about 2km, that's the distance, so it'll be a nice walk through the evening."
Sime says if you or your team wants to get their names on the official walk t-shirts, the deadline is fast approaching.
"If you get registered before [Friday] and you're maybe part of a business and you'd like to have your name on the back of a t-shirt, we ask that you be registered by Friday."
Friday is only the deadline to get on the t-shirts. You can still sign up for the walk on the day of the event, or any time before. To get registered in advance, you can follow the link here.
