The Dauphin and District Snowmobile Club is getting ready for their first ever Landowner and Volunteer Appreciation Social Evening.
As the title suggests, the club is thanking people for letting snowmobilers ride on their land.
Club Treasurer Irene Abraham says funds raised at the event will help the club keep up with its costs.
"We just bought a groomer, so we need help to help pay for that. We're always improving our shelters and stuff, and of course, your upkeep and machinery and stuff."
Abraham says appreciation events like this are important because, without willing land owners, snowmobilers would mostly be relegated to driving in ditches.
The Landowner and Volunteer Appreciation Social Evening will take place Saturday, April 16 at the Sifton Hall. You can buy tickets at Reit Syd Equipment.
