The Dauphin Clippers junior varsity girls basketball team went on a run and defended their home court over the weekend.

Hosting the Clipper Classic, Dauphin won three straight games to win the championship in front of their home crowds at the DRCSS.

A great crowd was on hand at the gym as Dauphin opened their tournament with a dominating win over their Parkland rival Swan Valley Tigers, 70-14, and the crowds continued to flock to the school to support the home team.

In their next game, Dauphin secured a 22-point victory in a 52-30 final against Neelin and in a thrilling final against Crocus Plains, the Clippers got some key stops late and came up clutch offensively in a 55-50 win.
