Yet another golf course will open in the Parkland this weekend and course conditions are looking good.

The Dauphin Lake Golf Resort opens their driving range Friday. Saturday the course is open only to members. On Sunday the course will open to the public.

"The course is looking good," says General Manager, Ryan Dreger. "It's drying up really nice but we've got a couple of problem holes like 3 and 4."

Dreger doesn't think this will be too much of a problem for golfers, he has high hopes the course will dry out in time for the weekend. "We're trying to get a cart path finished here quick. We're hoping that everything's playable and we can get a quick 18 in on Saturday."

Saturday's members only day includes a BBQ lunch for golfers followed by some golf to get the 2016 golf season started off right.

Dreger also spoke about the course's renovation plans coming in the next few years. "The renovation plans are looking good, but obviously it's going to take some time. They're working hard on it, and they're going to be working on it this year. Hopefully we can get to it in a couple of years and make this course look really nice."

If you want to partake in Saturday's members only day, don't worry it's not too late to get a membership. "If you haven't gotten your membership yet, the GM special ends after Saturday," says Dreger. "Come see me at the pro shop I'll be there all day [Friday] and [Saturday]."

During special membership pricing an adult membership is $799 + taxes. A senior's membership is $699 + taxes.
