It took the Dauphin Clippers just 30 seconds to score their first goal of the season and there was just nothing the Virden Golden Bears could do to stop the Clippers Ship as they played their first game of the season.
Ethan Zalischuk opened up the scoring and Dauphin never looked back in an 8-1 thumping at Credit Union Place. Boston Karlson was red-hot for Dauphin in the win as he scored a pair of goals while Norman Lacquette, Ethan Carnegie, Julien Lopez, Ronin Mouck, and Jorden Braun also scored for Dauphin in the big win.
Chase Glover earned his first win of the season in net and the Clippers are now off to Neepawa to play the Tigers on Sunday night.
