Rylan Gibbs' junior hockey career will continue with a team that was an honourable mention this week in the Canadian Junior Hockey League's Top 20 rankings.

After playing three games and posting one assist to start the season with his hometown Kings, Rylan was traded to the Blind River Beavers of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL). In 99 career regular-season games with Dauphin, the former Parkland Ranger star had 14 goals and 18 assists.

His 100th career regular season game at the junior level will come with the Beavers who are 10-4-1 this season. Their 21 points give them a five-point lead over the Hearst Lumberjacks while they're just three points behind the league-leading Greater Sudbury Cubs, who they will play on Thursday night.

The Beavers are excited to add the 20-year-old from Dauphin who possesses an outstanding shot and great skating ability.
