The Waywayseecappo Wolverines of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) are now on the search for a new head coach and general manager.
After seven years at the helm, Taylor Harnett stepped down last week. Harnett is heading to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) to become the head coach of the Amarillo Wranglers. After he was hired in November of 2017, Harnett turned the organization around.
He guided the Wolverines to the Turnbull Cup Playoffs on three separate occasions and he guided the team to their winningest season in franchise history in the 2021-22 campaign when they had a record of 33-18-3. Amarillo is coming off a season in which they went 32-20-6-2.
With Taylor's departure, the organization is now searching for someone to replace him.
