The Dauphin Kings losing streak is no longer.

Looking to snap a two-game skid, Dauphin did just that on Tuesday night as they downed the Waywayseecappo Wolverines, 3-1, at the Arena Complex. It was Dauphin's fourth straight win against the Wolverines to begin the season, with two more meetings to go.

All of the scoring in the game was done in the second period as Dauphin struck three times while the Wolverines scored once. Dauphin's goals included Anthony Bax who scored his sixth power play goal on the season, a stat that leads the league and it was his seventh of the season. Cayden Glover also scored on a beautiful pass from Jordan Bax as Glover scored his second.

Rounding out Dauphin's scoring in the game was Blake Boudreau as he scored his 10th of the campaign while Aiden Moser scored Waywayseecappo's lone goal in the defeat.

Austin Seibel turned away 24 shots in the game as he earned his third straight win between the pipes.

The Kings will now prepare for a tough weekend that opens on Friday night when they play the Steinbach Pistons and on Saturday, Dauphin is in Niverville to play the Nighthawks. Both games will be played on the road and Darnell Duff will broadcast Friday's game opening with the Parkland Source for Sports pregame show at 7:15.
