The Dauphin Kings are headed into the Manitoba Junior Hockey League playoffs on a high following a 4-1 win over the OCN Blizzard Wednesday night.

Unlike Tuesday the Kings put together a full 60 minutes and battled through some adversity in the third period to get the win.

In the first period Dauphin scored the only goal as their Power Play remains hot on the road. Chance Thomas grabbed his 15th of the season on the man advantage.

The two teams went into the middle frame and Dauphin once again pulled through with the only goal. It came off the stick of Trevor Kavanaugh (12) from almost the exact same place he scored from on Tuesday, this time even strength.
