The Parkland U18 Rangers are back home with two more points.

On the road for a pair of games against Pembina Valley, the Rangers picked up a point each on Saturday and Sunday after dropping both games in a shootout.

In Saturday's weekend opener, Jayce Legaarden led the way with two goals while Kyan Grouette and Matthew Munro both potted in a 5-4 defeat. Then on Sunday, six different Rangers scored.

Will Munro, Parker Boguski, Hayden Seib, Kyan Grouette, Cash Clarkson and Marco Bodnarski scored the goals. Parkland has now lost five games in a row and they'll look to get back on track on Friday when they play Norman.

In other news, four Parkland wins have been taken away as the Kenora Thistles have taken a leave of absence. The team is now 12-12-5 and are seventh in the league, two points up on the eighth-place Hawks.
