If you're looking to play some hockey and have a fun time while doing so this Louis Riel Long Weekend, you'll have that chance in Ste. Rose.

The Ste. Rose Minor Hockey Association is hosting a road hockey tournament on Sunday, February 16. It begins at 1:00 p.m. outside of the Ste. Rose Recreation Complex. 

"If you're looking to enjoy the time, this is a great opportunity to play some old-time road hockey and enjoy time with friends," said Don Sheldon. 

You can have as many players on your team as you'd like, but there will be four players on the surface at all times which includes goalies. You're only required to bring your sticks as balls will be provided and they'll also be giving away hot chocolate.

There's no entry fee and the format of the tournament will depend on how many teams sign up. You can do so by calling Don at 447-7721.
